Made this chart after speaking with a girlfriend on the phone yesterday. I think girls tend to 1-up each other in pitch while talking in order to convey enthusiasm.  Especially at the end, when it just becomes “Bye!” “BYEE!!” “OKKK BBBBBBYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!” in paradoxically shrill yet breathy tones… Males on the other hand, do not display such tendencies, and greetings and farewells are generally a rather unenthusiastic affair. — Edit: May 16, 2011 8:57 PM Now includes “Males talking to girlfriends,” as per a request ;)

ilovecharts: via It’s Funny to Me Fascinating!  A couple things: I am just lol-ing remembering some of these debacle movies…Shark Tale bringing up the rear lol, the diminishing marginal returns on the Shrek franchise, also Cars which I heard was so bad I never went to see it… I’m surprised that A Bug’s Life is rated so relatively low (compared to other Pixar films, but actually quite high compared to Dreamworks…o_O…poor Dreamworks). Mental note: need to see How to Train Your Dragon
